My name is Theresa Morales, with a son, Griffin, who is now 7 1/2 yrs old and I have been a quiltmaker since 1990. Working at So-Fro Fabrics at Eastgate Mall, Cincinnati, Ohio has given me the chance to work with fabrics. One of the sewing machine salespersons would bring in a quilting project and quilt it by hand when she was slow. This is when I became interested in Quilts. It wasn’t until 1994 that I became “serious” about making quilts; before that I just dallied around with fabric crafts. I entered county fairs and the state fair winning various ribbons, joining quilt guilds, even playing with a fellow quilter’s longarm machine in 1997. It wasn’t until after my son was born in 2000 that I decided to buy a Gammill Classic Longarm Quilting Machine from Cliff Monk of Florida. In October 2007 the machine was retrofitted with a stitch-regulator, yeah! Which means the stitch-length is controlled by a small computer chip.

Many Happy Quilts! :)
