Jimmy Shadow

Jimmy Shadow is the owner/artist of ShadoWorks,llc. His work has been published in all the major tattoo magazines and has won numerous awards for his big, bold, easy-to-see (and understand) colorful artwork. With 25 yrs of tattooing experience under his belt: a true lineage of the training he's received from master tattoo artist and master weapons engraver Carl Bleile ,who was train by legendary tattoo artist Cliff Raven. Jim's expertise in tattooing is truly world class. His signature style and look is instantly recognizable.  Cleanliness and quality are always the highest priority, as well as truly, custom one of a kind, thoughtful works of art that really speaks of the individual wearing the design. Jim is not fond of trendy, faddish, everyone's doing it type of tattoos and usually pass on  that type of work, preferring  the custom.

He also does other types of artwork. Besides tattooing, Jim is known thru-out the mid-west for his extremely tight airbrush art on vehicles and has won a number of awards for best paint. He'll paint on anything, not just bikes cars and trucks as you'll see. Jim also designs and builds custom vehicles. Jim also likes to dabble with digital art which include logo and identity systems for small business, 3-D animation, and web art as well as computer cut vinyl signage and graphics. Jim's abilities, knowledge, and tool collection allow him to cross from one medium to another seamlessly and at a high level of quality and attention to detail.
