Corn Maiden by Ms. Marilyn Ross

The braids are woven yarn stitched in place, so I left them alone. Off the black sashing are quilted corn stalks. Details of hair and skirt wrinkles quilted in.

1930's Reproduction by Ms Eula Mae Gaskin

Ms Eula Mae gave me the stencil for the floral motif which fit perfectly in the odd "squares." Filled in with outlining, Pumpkin seeds, and clamshells in the pink border, feather and leaf vine in the outer border.

Ms Ellen Masters Basket Sampler

The quilted "paisleys" were taken from the border print. Ribbons were added as filler around the basket and the flowers were contoured in curves.

Done for a Lone Star Quilt to be used in a cabin. The pine wreath was done in all 4 corners in variegated gold-to-green thread. The pine spray in the triangles.
